Robyn Rihanna Fenty also referred to as Rihanna by the Barbadians is a songwriter and singer. Her biggest hits include Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella, and Take a Bow. Being a young and accomplished singer and songwriter, she's already one of the most successful selling artists. Born in Barbados, she was able to love reggae and started singing as a child. As a way to get away from the tensions within her family along with her parents' constant fights, she started singing. In high school, she started a group of musicians and was able to meet the music producer Evan Rodgers. He was amazed by her talents. The producer requested that she move to New York and pursue a singing career full-time. Rihanna was thrilled to accept. Rihanna was quickly a sensation when her debut album hit the shelves. Her peppy foot-tapping songs became the hot favorites of teens, which led her to venture into films too. She's a young, skilled woman that has grown into a style icon and a teen icon. Rihanna uses her fame to positive use as she is actively involved in several charity causes.
