Cindy Crawford

Cynthia Ann Crawford, born on February 20, 1966 is an American actress, model and a TV star. She was a model, and an iconic figure on magazines covers as well as runways and fashion advertisements in the 1990s and 1980s. The following years she began to expand her acting abilities and entered into business. In her sophomore year at high school, she was contacted by an email from a local clothing store regarding modeling work, only to discover it was a prank played by two of her classmates. Crawford was among the high school girls recruited by another store who also participated in a fashion shoot. Roger Legel, a local photographer approached Crawford to photograph her. He was in charge of shooting another college student in DeKalb Nite Weekly. Crawford became the first photo shoot. The picture as well as the positive comments she received was enough to make her want to pursue modeling. She began with an agency with a small size. Elite Model Management bought it right after she signed. She entered Elite's Look of the Year contest in 1983 at age 17 and reached the finals at the national level.
